Cooking Up Wellness: Our Jamu Kitchen Ritual

One of the most loved moments of our Detox Retreat is wonderfully simple: cooking together.

In our Jamu Cooking Class, guests gather in our open kitchen to learn the ancient Indonesian tradition of herbal medicine. You will chop fresh turmeric, grate ginger, crush lemongrass, and stir golden tonics made from plants that have been healing bodies for centuries.

This is not just a recipe. It is a ritual.

You’ll learn:

  • How to prepare detoxifying herbal drinks
  • How food becomes medicine
  • How intention changes the way we nourish ourselves

By the time you sip your warm Jamu, you’re not just drinking something healthy — you’re participating in a living tradition of wellness.


Life Inside the Retreat

Between spa sessions, ocean dips, and kitchen rituals, your days unfold slowly.
