To start New Years Eve celebrations, for sunset, at Lucky’s Bar. Its one of the best places, this time of the year, to watch the sunset in Gili Air.
Every year the beach is packed with party people, families, local people, all gather together on the beach to watch the last sunset of the year. It has a bit the same vibe as Ibiza, a few years ago.
We are all smiling, looking in eachothers eyes and watching the sun set, in the ocean, for the last time in 2017. Puts a smile on my face, just thinking about it, doesn’t it?
Once the sun sets, after the colours have gone from red, to orang, purple, blue, to announce the arrival of the night. I’d hop on a bycicle and cycle to Camila Beach Club. They have prepared an exquisite menu for the New Year.
